Some homes have a balcony. This one has a front row seat to Tiong Bahru.
Set along one of the estate’s iconic curved blocks, among the last completed before WWII, this third floor home has an elongated balcony that follows the building’s distinctive contours. It looks out over the lovely low rise postwar apartments built by the Singapore Improvement Trust. A little architectural history, best enjoyed with your morning coffee.
This is the quieter side of Tiong Bahru, where the neighbourhood feels a little more residential and the pace a little less hurried. Yet you’re only a short stroll from the places that make living here so enjoyable.
Pick up groceries at Tiong Bahru Market, settle into a coffee shop for breakfast, or explore the cafés, boutique restaurants and tucked away eateries. Some are so discreet that even residents walk past without realising what’s inside.
With shopping, buses and MRT connections within easy reach, daily life is wonderfully convenient. Although with this balcony, you may find yourself in less of a hurry to head out.
